      As a visiting student at Trinity you may enroll in a wide array of courses within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences or the Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics & Science. An optional Fall Semester Start-up Program offers international students an interdisciplinary course in Irish culture, history, archaeology, art, architecture, and literature that includes lectures, tutorials and field trips around Dublin and Ireland, as well as a range of social evenings to cultural venues and typical Dublin pubs.

    • Preferred application deadlines are: October 15th for Spring semester and April 15th for Fall semester. Call for availability after these dates.
    • At the time of application a student should normally have attained a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.  Students should hold Sophomore, Junior or Senior class standing at the time of study.
    • Course pre-approval is not available in advance of arrival; final registration takes place on arrival.
    • Students can take courses in a maximum of two departments.
    • Standard full-time credit load: 14-16 U.S. semester-hour credits. The total number of courses will vary depending on the credit weighting of each course.

    • Students‘ Union provides a Common Room, Student Union shops, a photocopying service and a wide program of entertainment.
    • Outdoor sport facilities for rugby, soccer, hockey, cricket and tennis and a boathouse. The Luce Sports Hall accommodates squash, basketball and badminton.
    • Office of International Student Affairs provides academic advising. The College also provides a Health Service.
    • Students live in University apartments or residence halls with local students. Accommodations are single rooms, catered and self-catered.
